The Voice of a Hymnal Songbird

As an ode to a traditional choir, driven by a passion for perfection, a resounding hymn is a message to God.
Apostle Paul wrote, “Be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 5:18b-20).
A Christian choir harmonizes, exemplifying the Lord’s fellowship, faithfully expressing love through symbols in song. Musicians organize concerts and sing-alongs, calling us to worship.
An appropriate meter arranges expressive lyrics, sung in unison, possibly a song about a man’s sorrows or a woman’s soulful nurturing of a child. Practiced often, these songs raise our spirits on high.
Apostle Paul stated, “Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another, according to Christ Jesus, so that with one purpose and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Roman 15:5-6).
Gather and cherish the joyful moments of singing together, soloing when called by the Lord, as God’s songbirds sing in hope that the Father Himself will applaud from the heavens above.
