PROJECT: UNIFYING STREETS OF AMERICA

Client: Dana Jackson, Independent Promotor

The sampled logos shown here are the proposed visions as provided by the client. Dana Jackson is a native resident of Dayton, Ohio. As a client, he worked as a professional Accounts Representative at the Berry Network. At the time of this project, Dana advocated spreading a message of hope for the youth of Dayton. I felt honored to be the designer chosen to help build logos for a cause-worthy message.
 
The commissioned logo designs were a concept to promote nonviolence in Dayton's streets and neighborhoods. These two logo designs were his concepts proposed as a message of unity—shared across the Internet and throughout local communities on tee-shirts and hats. 
 
Creative Process:
These illustrations were rough sketches drawn by a youth affiliated with Dana. I took the drawings, scanned and made digital files, and opened the files in Adobe Illustrator. The final product turned out nicely on the front and back of the silk-screening process.
