PROJECT: Unifying Streets of America
Client: Dana Jackson, Independent Promoter
The sampled logos shown here are the client's proposed visions. Dana Jackson is a native resident of Dayton, Ohio. As a client, he worked as a professional Accounts Representative at the Berry Network. At the time of this project, Dana promoted spreading a message of hope for the youth of Dayton. I felt honored to be the designer chosen to help develop logos for a meaningful cause.
The commissioned logo designs serve as concepts to promote nonviolence in Dayton's streets and neighborhoods. These two logo designs represent his ideas for a message of unity—shared across the Internet and throughout local communities on T-shirts and hats.
Creative Process:
These illustrations were rough sketches drawn by a youth connected to Dana. I scanned the drawings, created digital files, and opened them in Adobe Illustrator. The final designs looked great on both the front and back of the silk-screening process.
