Easy Now

A courteous gentleman has allowed me the safe passage I require. Maybe I drive with extra care, totally alert when out and about. I arrive in one piece to my destination. When I drive through an accident, I try my best not to see the damage. Life is only complicated enough without witnessing the destruction caused by someone inconsiderate.
I tell myself, “Easy Now!”
I leave and arrive early. If some delay disrupts my planned direction, I take a breath and proceed. Nothing is worth dying over while rushing to a destination last minute makes me mad. I am a responsible adult with all the time in the world. I cannot control what other people do, but I am aware of my surroundings.
If someone crashes into me, I tell myself, “Easy Now!”
Anyone can make a mistake, and the belt installed in every automobile will save lives. Be prepared, follow the rules, and show some courtesy to your fellow travelers.
I have never caused a car accident, and I get more alert as age factors into the equation of the inevitability. Stay safe out there, folks.
“Easy Now!” We can make it home or wherever we are going.
