Awakening to Ohio’s spring equinox fuels my efforts to cultivate nature’s beauty. March introduces Ohioans to the astounding variety of flowering plants as the ground breaks, bringing the season’s splendor back. I have the green thumb of a passionate fellow who digs in the soil to ease my allergy symptoms. Mother Earth is the most perfect host, and I welcome her embodied contributions into my soul.
Each droplet falls from the heavens as precipitation, orchestrating the release of oxygen from the oceans that nurture human life. Much like a water spigot sprung loose, life engulfs a world where organisms revisit us each year. My role as the gardener leaves me captivated by the responsibility of a natural grower. Humankind gazes in amazement at every seeding, from budding blooms to sprawling petals.
Perennials reflect the cyclical nature of our soulful belonging to Mother Nature, as her joyful tears rain down on those who adorn the flowering process, gifting the world its re-doable experiences.
