Apostle Paul wrote, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).
God’s purpose became mine to pursue through a tailored narrative nonfiction project when His Word, shared in harmony with my life’s story, offered healing and hope. I have collaborated with incredible writers, agents, and even kind publishers, all of whom have said the same thing. My life is a story because I have the will to share it with the world. Trust me, it’s frightening to share the most vulnerable experiences I have had with readers or anyone else. For many decades, I carried shame and blame without the strength and know-how to craft the narrative. Working with a fantastic cohort and some truly insightful mentors, I began my career as a largely illiterate individual. I developed into a skilled writer with an ambitious desire to succeed.
Realizing I needed a way to explain extreme circumstances, I turned to God for a sincere yet respectful approach to writing about deeply damaging abuses. Together, we found a calm expressiveness that required no overly graphic descriptions. His wisdom became my wisdom. His courage became mine, enabling me to move forward with an obligation to the Holy Spirit. Over the decade, as my vulnerability became a resource, I explored the truth with a grace that only a figure like Jesus Christ can embody. The Lord of Hosts welcomed me into a sacred covenant so profound that Scripture began appearing in the algorithms I used and in conversations with my family.
I invite you to explore my experiences so that your own feel most relevant moving forward, and God offers a blueprint for healing throughout this reading. My life doesn’t outline topics that seem easy to absorb; otherwise, how else would the tragedy of my family’s history become mental fuel to ignite the love God teaches in the gospel? We had remained incapable of love, and sometimes pain reveals its struggles in our ongoing relationships. Human beings draw from the effects of our nature to exist or belong. I am glad to share my path to healing a brokenness that portrays incredibly confusing times, speaking first to the madness, yet described with empathy and compassion.
Awakening a survivor's consciousness each day takes courage and perseverance, but I am determined to see every morning as a fresh chance to achieve my goals. A call to agents and publishers: please, join in and support me as the next influential partner to help launch this project soon. Together, we will inspire victims who feel lost, demonstrating the healing power of God and the evidence that I, as a human being, live an exemplary life that transforms tragedy into praise for steadfast faith — all conveyed through a humorous, witty, and humble belief system unlike any traditional Christian influence.
I pray that God reveals Himself, as He has to me, as an unavoidable symbol of hope. My book details moments of miracles and encounters with angels, and I never realized how diligently He works to enhance each new day with purpose and grace. Some healing processes require Him to remove demons from our souls violently, but after the cleansing, our new life becomes a quest to understand. I would love to help guide you toward at least a spiritual reckoning with self-love, self-respect, and a self-worth that drives whatever makes you feel whole again.
As a former sofa surfer, I have come a long way to build a life worthy of my efforts as a professional expressionist.
